Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) seeks a Unit Coordinator for a full-time 10-hour shift. The role manages clerical functions on the nursing unit to support patient care and assists with care and unit programming for therapy and daily living activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of psychiatric patient care experience, and certifications in CPR, Verbal De‑Escalation, and Handle With Care. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year psychiatric care experience preferred.
• Experience with interventional and administrative duties in nursing/patient care.
• CPR, Verbal De‑Escalation, and Handle With Care certifications required.

Responsibilities
