Job summary

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS) within Universal Health Services seeks a Unit Coordinator to manage clerical functions and support patient care on a psychiatric unit. You will work within a treatment team to coordinate therapies, activities of daily living, and unit programming for diverse patient populations.

The role requires familiarity with regulatory standards, strong documentation, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset; CPR/De-Escalation/Handle With Care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• One (1) year experience with psychiatric patients preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Administrative experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage clerical functions of the nursing unit to support patient care.
• Assist with direct care and management of patients on the unit.
• Support unit programming and activities of daily living.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory standards and crisis intervention.
