Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate Clinical Support Worker to deliver patient care and perform essential clerical tasks that support the therapeutic milieu. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or two years college preferred.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial patient information and document on assessment forms.
• Assist with patient hygiene and meals as needed.
• Collect specimens and prepare for lab transport.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to Charge Nurse.
• Support group activities and therapeutic milieu.
• Assist with discharge notes and intake backup as needed.
• Follow crisis intervention procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist staff on unit operations.
• Transport patients and lab specimens to required locations.
