Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic clinical support skills and patient care basics.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in behavioral health settings.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial information from patient/guardian and document on assessment forms.
• Record vital signs, height and weight.
• Assist with unit orientation and patient rights education.
• Assist with specimen collection and transport to lab.
• Engage patients in groups and therapeutic activities.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Document observations in charts and progress notes.
