We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Hockley, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Hockley, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting regularly with your supervisor. You will build trust and rapport within the child's home environment, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth with evidence-based techniques under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will assist in teaching communication, social, and daily living skills and reducing interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children, involving activities that may include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
