We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Schertz, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Addison, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing learning programs, collecting data, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting regularly with your supervisor. You will build trust with the child and family in their home within 15 minutes of your residence.

We provide comprehensive paid training to prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth with evidence-based techniques under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Engaging actively with children through physical activities like standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
