We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Boerne, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Boerne, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families affected by autism. Your responsibilities will include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting regularly with your supervisor. You will build trust with the child and family in their home within 15 minutes of your residence.

We provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with the skills to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

Your daily activities will include:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children in physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
