We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Round Rock, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Round Rock, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting behavioral data, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust and rapport within the child's home environment, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while addressing challenging behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing individualized developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement personalized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children in activities that may involve standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
