Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our inpatient detox and residential facility in Aurora, CO. You will manage daily residential operations, supervise a team, and support client engagement to maintain a positive recovery environment.

We value compassionate, responsible individuals who can set clear boundaries and uphold recovery principles. A High School diploma or GED and CPR certification are preferred, with sobriety in recovery welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, minimum one-year sobriety required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all rules, policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
