Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Norfolk is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to manage daily residential operations and supervise staff across intake, transportation, meals, and activities. You will train the BHT team and escalate crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

The role emphasizes overseeing client engagement, maintaining a warm recovery environment, and ensuring adherence to all center policies and procedures. A valid license and sobriety requirements may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred


• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred


• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
