Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking Weekend Behavior Health Technicians for our residential programs in Covington, LA. You will provide direct care to adults with brain injuries, implementing behavioral programs and supporting daily living activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

We are searching for Weekend Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts

Duties

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation

• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
