Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Covington, LA is hiring Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to provide direct care to individuals with brain injury in residential programs. Schedule is 7a-7p.

You will implement behavioral training, document data, assist with ADLs, transport residents to appointments, and support daily activities, with focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility-wide behavioral training and documents data.
• Models appropriate behavior and provides reinforcement daily.
• Assists residents with ADLs and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical appointments and community activities.
• Completes daily documentation (behavioral data, shift summaries, charts, MARs, incident reports).
• Performs housekeeping tasks (laundry, vacuuming, dusting).

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7a-7p

Duties:

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL's (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
