Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners is seeking Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs in Covington, LA. Duties include implementing behavioral training, modeling positive behavior, assisting with ADLs, and transporting residents to activities and appointments.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and responsible driving behaviors.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis.
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community.
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports).
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7p-7a
