Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Covington, LA is hiring Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs. You will provide direct care to adults with brain injury, implement behavioral protocols, and document daily progress.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training and individual protocols, completes documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior, provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback daily.
• Assists residents in ADLs and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical appointments and activities in the community.
• Completes all daily required documentation and reports.
• Performs housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning tasks.

We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7a-7p

Duties

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
