Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners is hiring a Full-Time Behavior Health Technician for our residential program in Covington, LA. You will provide direct care to residents with behavioral challenges related to brain injury, and work a 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

shift. Responsibilities include implementing behavioral protocols, documenting progress, assisting with ADLs, transporting residents, and completing daily reports and housekeeping tasks as part of a dedicated care team.Qualifications include a

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. may be required.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility-wide behavioral training and individual protocols with documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior and provides daily reinforcement and corrective feedback.
• Assists residents with ADLs and participates in physical, vocational, and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical, vocational, recreational, and educational activities in the community.
• Completes daily documentation (behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, MARs, incident reports).
• Completes housekeeping chores (laundry, vacuuming, dusting).

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7p-7a

Duties:

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL's (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
