Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Tech II to support unit operations, supervise daily living activities, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment under nursing guidance.

You will participate in assessments, treatment plan implementation, and group activities, reinforce routine care, monitor vital signs, and assist with discharge procedures and transportation as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; CNA preferred, with at least one year of relevant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in substance abuse and mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission processes, vital signs, and orientation to the unit.
• Observe consumers and report changes to nursing staff.
• Encourage interaction and participation in social activities and group therapies.
• Monitor meal preparation and dietary compliance as prescribed.
• Conduct checks on consumers at intervals (60 min, 15 min as ordered).
• Assist in discharge procedures and transportation as needed.
