Job summary

LifeStream in Florida is seeking a Behavioral Tech III to provide advanced support for individuals with behavioral health needs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality services and help clients achieve treatment goals.

The role includes monitoring and supporting clients, implementing care plans, facilitating activities, documenting progress, communicating with families and professionals, and supporting staff onboarding.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Minimum 2 years' experience in substance abuse and mental health settings.
Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

Monitor and support clients through direct observation to ensure safety and well-being.
Implement and follow individualized care plans and treatment protocols.
Assist in development and facilitation of therapeutic activities and group sessions.
Document client behavior, progress, and incidents accurately and timely.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health professionals.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to client care strategies.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention per established protocols.
Support onboarding and training of new staff by sharing expertise and knowledge.
