Job summary

BriteLife Recovery in Hanover, PA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to lead the BHT team and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for clients. You will work under the Executive Director and collaborate with departmental leaders and external providers.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, payroll, and program planning, with opportunities for growth, ongoing development, and engagement in community activities to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and promote corporate initiatives.
• Ability to monitor activities of individuals in need of substance abuse treatment.
• Ability to screen for danger to self or others.
• Ability to provide education and information to individuals and groups on substance abuse.
• Participation in continuing professional development.
• Adherence to ethical and behavioral standards.

Responsibilities

• Defines and assigns duties to BHT team members.
• Supervises and schedules the BHTs to meet clinical and operational needs.
• Promotes a healthy recovery environment by coordinating in-house speakers and off-site meetings.
• Audits EHR documentation for timeliness and accuracy.
• Hires, supervises, and engages in corrective action planning.
• Manages payroll for the team.
• Develops yearly staffing plan and monitors census and program needs.
• Trains all BHT staff on admissions and duties and completes Training Plan for each supervisee.
• Develops monthly recreational schedule and coordinates resources and transportation.
• Attends multi-department meetings to provide milieu observations.
• Oversees Community Meetings led by technicians.
• Manages transportation schedule for admissions and other appointments.
• Meets metrics and goals with Executive Director.
• Works with Leadership on goals and corporate initiatives.
• Collaborates with Clinical and Nursing to ensure treatment fidelity.
• Promotes BriteLife Recovery to clients and employees.
• Goes by example in daily work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
