Job summary

Midwest Behavioral Health Center is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to lead and develop our BHT team. You will coach frontline staff, set expectations for excellent patient care, and maintain an active leadership presence within the treatment environment.

You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, model trauma-informed, compassionate interactions, and participate in patient activities, rounds, and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral healthcare or related setting.
• Proven leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach employees, provide constructive feedback, manage conflict, and hold staff accountable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and coaching to Behavioral Health Technicians and other assigned staff.
• Set clear expectations for exceptional patient care and professional conduct.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide meaningful feedback.
• Maintain an active leadership presence on the floor and with the treatment team.
• Lead during behavioral emergencies using approved de-escalation techniques and safety protocols.
