Job summary

BriteLife Recovery seeks a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for clients. You will work under the Executive Director, coordinate with clinical leaders, and manage departmental expenses while upholding the company’s mission and values.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, training, and collaboration across departments to sustain high-quality addiction treatment services in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Experience in substance use disorders treatment preferred.
• Ability to lead and promote corporate initiatives.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to monitor activities of individuals in need of substance abuse treatment.
• Ability to screen for danger to self or others.
• Ability to educate individuals and groups on substance abuse with guidance of Clinical Director.
• Participation in continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients.
• Define and assign duties to BHT team members.
• Supervise and schedule BHTs to meet clinical and operational needs.
• Promote healthy recovery by coordinating in-house and off-site meetings.
• Audit EHR documentation for timeliness and accuracy.
• Hire, supervise, and engage in corrective action when indicated.
• Manage payroll for the team.
• Develop yearly staffing plans and monitor workforce needs.
• Train all BHT staff on admissions, duties, and Training Plans.
• Develop monthly schedules and coordinate resources/transportation.
• Attend multi-department meetings to provide milieu observations.
• Oversee community meetings led by technicians.
• Coordinate transportation for admissions/discharges/appointments.
• Meet metrics and goals with the Executive Director.
• Collaborate with Leadership and Clinical/Nursing teams.
• Promote BriteLife Recovery to clients and employees.
• Lead by example and perform other duties as assigned.
