Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Bucks County is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support daily residential operations, supervise activities, and ensure safe, supportive care for clients in a transitional recovery program.

You will train the BHT team, escalate crises, maintain morale, cooperate with partner Crosswalk Sober Living, and help deliver a warm, structured environment across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
