Job summary

Optima Medical Management Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Patient Coordinator to provide general assistance, information, referrals, and scheduling for Behavioral Health Services. The role requires strong communication and problem‑solving skills, especially in crisis or conflict situations.

Responsibilities include implementing a screening/triage process, coordinating client calls, and maintaining confidentiality. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of front office experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Implement screening and triage to determine needed services.
• Answer, return, and schedule client calls.
• Collaborate with managerial, administrative, and clinical staff for daily efficiency.
• Add, update, and edit scheduling services.
• Complete data entry for pre-admission including required information.
• Identify emergent cases and seek clinical review as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
