Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate care to patients.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports changes to the RN.
• Performs safety observation and documents patient status every 15 minutes.
• Receives and provides hand-off reports to/from the RN and other BRTs.
• Communicates patient information promptly and maintains confidentiality.
• Participates in competency validations and mandatory trainings.
• Demonstrates one-to-one observation competency and de-escalation.
• Transports patients as required and accompanies them off-unit when needed.
• Remains awake and vigilant during shifts to ensure patient safety.
