Qualifications

• GED or HiSET is required.
• 1 year of relevant patient care experience.
• 2 years preferred with behavioral health patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety observation and intervene as needed.
• Document patient status every 15 minutes.
• Communicate patient information to the RN promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating).
• De-escalate situations and maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Remain with the patient during one-to-one observation when assigned.
