Job summary

BayCare Health Systems' Behavioral Health Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Pool RN to join the St Joseph's team. The role involves caring for a patient group using the nursing process, delegating care, and maintaining professional accountability on night shifts.

This pool position requires an RN license and BLS, with at least 2 years of acute care RN experience. Level II AHCA background screening applies; on-site schedule is 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, weekends as needed.

The Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse Department Pool I is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Professional accountability and development.

Position Details:

• Location: St Joseph's Behavioral Health Center - Tampa, FL

• Status: Pool

• Non-Exempt: No

• Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• Shift: Nights

• Weekend Work: Occasional

• On Call: No

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• Nurse Specialty – preferred

Required Education:

• Required Associate's or Diploma in Nursing

• Preferred Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required 2 years RN experience in an Acute Care Setting
