Job summary

BayCare seeks an experienced Behavioral Health Pool RN to join the St Joseph's Behavioral Health Hospital team in Tampa, FL. The role requires providing direct nursing care, supervising care activities, and upholding professional standards during night shifts.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Florida, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings. A Nurse Specialty is preferred; Associate's or Diploma in Nursing is required, Bachelor's is a plus.

The Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse Department Pool I is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.


• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.


• Professional accountability and development.

Position Details:

• Location: St Joseph's Behavioral Health Center - Tampa, FL


• Status: Pool


• Non-Exempt: No


• Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM


• Shift: Nights


• Weekend Work: Occasional


• On Call: No

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)


• RN (Registered Nurse)


• Nurse Specialty – preferred

Required Education :

• Required Associate's or Diploma in Nursing


• Preferred Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required 2 years RN experience in an Acute Care Setting
