Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) at our 86-bed psychiatric facility in Reading, PA. NEW GRADS WELCOME; competitive pay and shift differentials apply.

You will lead milieu management, document patient progress, administer medications, and collaborate with the team to support patients with mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Identifies risk levels and expected outcomes, including discharge planning and interventions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of psychiatric care and implements individualized nursing plans.
• Administers medications as prescribed and educates patients on medications.
• Maintains accurate documentation of symptoms, responses, and progress in medical records.
• Revises care plans and transcribes physician orders per policy; ensures continuity of care.
