Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse for the 1st shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with rotating weekends. NEW GRADS WELCOME. The RN will lead milieu management, direct patient care, and ensure safety in alignment with Joint Commission standards.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and CPR certification. Medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with the care team are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• One year inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and educates patients about meds.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in medical records.
• Ensure safety and well-being, respond to patient needs, and coordinate with staff.
• Supervise milieu management and direct care by nursing staff as needed.
• Float among clinical services and perform additional duties as assigned.
