Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern PA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care. NEW GRADS WELCOME. Shift options include 3rd Shift (11pm–7:30am) and Night Shift (7pm–7am) with weekend rotations.

Position involves milieu management, medication administration, and coordination with the healthcare team to support patient wellbeing in a Joint Commission-accredited setting.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license required in the employing state.
• Compact licenses are acceptable.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.
• Administers medications safely and provides patient education on meds.
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and interventions.
• Identifies patient needs and communicates with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Follows Joint Commission and state regulations and supports performance improvement standards.
