Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Middletown, CT. You will dispense prescriptions under supervision and perform clerical duties to keep the department running smoothly.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a half-hour lunch. On-site at 230 Main St. Extension, Middletown, CT. A valid CT Pharmacy Technician license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Connecticut.
• Onsite work at Middletown, CT with 8-hour shift 8:00am–4:30pm.
• Access to reliable transportation with US driver's license.
• Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification and data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clinic staff and customers.
• Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify stock and update inventory records.
• Assist in pharmacy functions and ensure regulatory compliance.
