UnitedHealth Group seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Middletown, OH to support Genoa mental health pharmacy. The role involves dispensing prescriptions under a pharmacist and handling clerical duties. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch.

Active OH license and reliable transportation are required. Pay ranges hourly from $16.00 to $29.00 depending on experience, with full benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (including registered/certified/trainee).
• Reliable transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
