Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group and Optum, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Bridgewater, NJ. The role dispenses prescriptions under supervision, handles clerical tasks, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Hours are Monday to Friday with specific shifts listed. Responsibilities include customer service, processing orders, inventory management, and coordination with the pharmacist.

Formación

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
• 1–2 years of pharmacy retail experience (preferred)
• Oral and written communication skills (preferred)
• Intermediate level of proficiency with general computer use and Microsoft Office (preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
