Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 12:30pm. A PA license or trainee license with ability to obtain within 6 months is required; reliable transportation is needed. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Trainee License with ability to obtain PA license within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinics
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records
• Assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements
• Perform clerical duties related to the department
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
