Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Location: 43 E Main St. Suite 113 Amelia, OH.

Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with lunch 12:30–1:00. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate data entry, and compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio.
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm at Amelia, OH.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and assist under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Provide excellent customer service to clinic staff and patients.
• Manage inventory and store incoming supplies.
• Process wholesale medication orders and verify stock.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Handle clerical duties and maintain accurate data entry.
