Job summary

CCI Health Services is hiring a Behavioral Health Patient Representative in Silver Spring, MD. You will serve as the primary contact for the Behavioral Health Department and ensure high-quality, compliant services.

This on-site role handles patient check-ins, scheduling, billing, and records management with a focus on accuracy and patient care. The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year in a medical setting, and proficiency with computers and EHRs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AA or BS degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant EHR systems required; eCW a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls promptly and relays messages.
• Registers patients and confirms scheduled visits.
• Checks in patients and updates status in the system.
• Monitors the reception area and communicates wait times to staff.
• Assists with billing, scheduling, and transferring records as needed.
