Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking information about treatment options. You will answer inquiries, explain programs, coordinate appointments, and guide patients through the initial steps to access care with compassion and accuracy.

This role supports a hybrid schedule with one onsite day per week; the Call Center operates 24/7 and requires flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a contact center, patient access, patient scheduling, healthcare, behavioral health, or other relevant customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from patients, prospective patients and family members in a compassionate, professional manner.
• Explain treatment programs and help patients navigate access to care.
• Coordinate appointments with treatment centers and staff.
• Document patient interactions per established procedures and guidelines.
• Escalate complex issues to supervision when needed.
