Job summary

Family & Children’s Services is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to support day-to-day operations of the nursing staff at a 24-hour Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care for individuals in mental health or substance use crises.

The position requires RN licensure in Oklahoma, ASN or higher, and supervisory experience. Responsibilities include staff supervision, direct care, training, crisis intervention, and program leadership roles as

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ years supervisory experience; Charge Nurse acceptable.
• Experience with mental health/substance use crises preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate nursing coverage and supervision on all shifts.
• Provide direct nursing care on the unit as needed.
• Ensure services follow established protocols.
• Monitor and improve workflow for safety and efficiency.
• Provide clinical consultation and crisis intervention.
• Oversee the clinical nursing student program.
• Act as interim Nurse Manager when needed.
