Job summary

The Center for Health Care Services seeks a Nurse Manager to organize and oversee nursing functions across Crisis Services, Substance Abuse, Behavioral Health and Primary Care. You will lead performance improvement, staff development, and regulatory adherence to maintain high-quality care.

You will train new nurses, coordinate staffing, and ensure staffing coverage for emergencies, while collaborating with clinicians and administrators to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN with two years' nursing experience or ADN with four years' experience.
• Current Registered Nurse License to practice in Texas.
• Experience in behavioral health or crisis services preferred.
• Ability to train staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee nursing functions across Crisis Services, Substance Abuse, Behavioral Health and Primary Care.
• Develop staffing plan based on patient acuity and census; supervise nursing personnel.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and ensure accreditation standards.
• Provide training for new nursing staff and ensure safe patient care coverage.
• Collaborate with administrators and clinicians to optimize patient flow and service delivery.
