Job summary

Family & Children’s Services is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive nursing care within the Urgent Recovery Center, focusing on acute mental health and/or substance use crises. You will perform medical and mental health assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, person-centered care.

The role includes potential charge nurse responsibilities, adherence to ODMHSAS and OBH regulations, and coordination of crisis stabilization and discharge

Qualifications

• ASN is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in Oklahoma.
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred.
• Knowledge of ODMHSAS and OBN regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments.
• Administer, monitor, and manage medications.
• Coordinate transfers to higher level of care as needed.
• Serve as charge nurse for the unit when assigned.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
