Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Nurse Manager for Behavioral Health to support administrative and clinical nursing leadership on the BH unit. You will supervise staff, manage patient care, and ensure accurate documentation and crisis management.

The role requires BSN or higher, TX RN licensure, CPR, and at least two years in inpatient psychiatry with management experience preferred. This position offers a path to advance within a long‑standing United Health Services system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license; CPR certification.
• Two years inpatient psych experience required; management experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating staff against job descriptions preferred.

Responsabilités

• Make patient and task assignments to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Oversee new employee orientation to the unit for PRN, float, and agency staff; provide training and education to staff, patients, and families.
• Document and oversee nursing documentation of patient care; ensure admissions, discharges, and census data are accurate.
• Supervise all staff assigned to the shift.
