Job summary

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a RN supervisor/manager for our mental health unit in Texas. This role oversees nursing services, ensures safe patient care, and coordinates with physicians to implement treatment plans.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and maintain regulatory compliance in a dynamic hospital setting. The position requires active RN licensure in Texas, a BSN/ADN, and preferred management experience in inpatient psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Must possess ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Current RN license to practice in Texas; two years of management experience preferred; inpatient mental health management experience preferred.
• Valid Texas RN license; CPR; BLS and Handle with Care certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing program and services to meet key mental health needs of the community.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic milieu and maintain a secure environment for staff and patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and health professionals to design treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
