Texas NeuroRehab Center, part of Universal Health Services, in Austin, TX, is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Behavioral Health unit. The role supports the Director of Nursing with administrative and clinical oversight, supervising staff, delivering direct patient care, and leading crisis management to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include staff training, overseeing nursing documentation, ensuring accurate admissions/discharges, and maintaining shift coverage.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Mansioni

• Make patient and task assignments to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Oversee new employee orientation for PRN, float, and agency staff; provide training and education to staff, patients, and families.
• Document and oversee nursing documentation of patient care; ensure admissions/discharges and shift census data are accurate and complete.
• Supervise all staff assigned to the shift.
