Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC seeks a seasoned Behavioral Health Nurse Manager to lead the BH unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, compliance, budgeting, and staff development within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN with DC RN licensure, 3–5 years BH nursing experience, and 2+ years of progressive leadership.

Qualificações

• BSN required; DC RN license required.
• 3–5 years Behavioral Health nursing experience.
• 2+ years leadership/management in inpatient setting preferred.
• Crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, patient safety familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership of Behavioral Health unit.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Develop staffing plans and manage scheduling with fiscal responsibility.
• Foster a positive work environment and staff engagement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor safety initiatives and de-escalation practices.
• Lead quality improvement and outcome measurement initiatives.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and therapists.
• Review incidents and implement corrective actions for safety.
• Oversee medication management and treatment protocols.
