Educational Alliance’s Center for Recovery and Wellness seeks a Clinical Assistant/Behavioral Health Screener to serve as the first point of contact for behavioral health services. The role combines front desk duties, initial screening, intake coordination, and insurance verification to ensure timely access to the appropriate level of care.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of reception or health‑care access experience, be bilingual (Spanish or Polish preferred), and proficient with EHR

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Health Administration, Psychology, or related field strongly preferred.
• CASAC Trainee status a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Greet clients as the primary point of contact at the Center for Recovery and Wellness.
• Conduct intake phone screenings and walk-in screenings.
• Verify client insurance coverage and benefits during intake.
• Coordinate appointments and maintain scheduling in the EHR.
• Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality in all records.
