The Educational Alliance Inc. seeks a Clinical Assistant/Behavioral Health Screener in New York, NY. This full-time role combines front desk duties, initial behavioral health screenings, intake coordination, and insurance verification to ensure timely access to services.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years as a receptionist in a healthcare setting, strong EHR skills, and bilingual abilities (Spanish or Polish). Prior experience with HIPAA and trauma-informed care is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of receptionist/administrative experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Polish strongly preferred.
• Experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage front desk operations.
• Coordinate intake screenings and appointments.
• Verify insurance details and benefits.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and data integrity.
