LifePath Systems in Plano, TX is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Customer Service role to support individuals, families, and clinical teams in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment. You will handle scheduling, billing tasks, and front-desk duties with a strong focus on accuracy and person-centered care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3 years’ experience in a medical office, agency, or hospital with scheduling, insurance verification, billing and collections preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Knowledgeable in Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance billing practices.

Responsibilities

Check in individuals as they arrive for appointments and schedule/reschedule appointments.
Collect payments for services.
Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, provide information and transfer to the appropriate person/department.
Update information in medical records and scan documents.
Mail letters and perform other general office duties as needed.
Support Behavioral Health teams to meet the needs of individuals served.
Cross-train to work in multiple settings and transition between tasks smoothly.
