Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in medical office with scheduling, insurance verification, billing and collections preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in individuals at arrival for appointments and verify information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and collect payments.
• Answer and screen phone calls, transfer to appropriate departments.
• Update medical records and scan documents.
• Work with community partners to triage calls and ensure timely responses.
• Cross-train to work in multiple clinic settings.
