Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide integrated care within the primary care clinic. The role emphasizes brief, evidence-based assessments and interventions for adults and children in collaboration with the medical team.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in a mental health field and an Oregon license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT). Spanish fluency is highly preferred; travel is minimal as the position is on-site at our Beaverton site.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Oregon license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) is required.
• Clinical experience in an integrated care delivery system preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume, brief, solution-focused assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with PCPs and medical team to develop clear treatment plans.
• Document in Epic EHR and communicate with medical providers in a timely manner.
• Assess and manage suicide risk and abuse concerns following evidence-based methods.
• Offer training and consultation to primary care staff on behavioral health topics.
