Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to integrate behavioral health into our primary care clinics. The role focuses on brief, evidence-based interventions for adults and children and requires strong collaboration with medical teams.

Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. A Master’s in a mental health field and Oregon licensure are required, with experience in integrated care strongly favored.

Formación

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
• Licensed in Oregon (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) is required.
• Experience in integrated behavioral health preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Apply biopsychosocial models to assess patient care and screen for substance use problems.
• Provide brief, solution-focused interventions in primary care across all ages.
• Educate patients and families and discuss medications with PCPs when appropriate.
• Document during sessions in Epic EHR and handle billing/documentation tasks.
• Assess and manage suicide/homicide risk and child/elder abuse concerns using validated tools.
• Offer consultation and training to the primary care team.
