Job summary

Community Health Care in Tacoma is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to join our primary care team. The BHC delivers brief, consultation-based services to patients referred by PCPs, serving individuals and families with evidence-based approaches.

This in-person role requires a Master’s degree or higher in a related field, WA licensure or eligibility, and experience on integrated care teams. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, PhD or PsyD in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family or field related to position requirements.
• Current WA State License or License Eligible: LMHC; LMFT; LICSW; LASW; Licensed Psychologist.
• Experience working on integrated care teams and providing evidence-based brief interventions.

Responsibilities

• The BHC works in the primary care clinic as an integrated team member and delivers brief, consultation-based services.
• Provides services to individuals of all ages and to families, informed by evidence-based interventions.
• Offers group programs and other services to enhance quality and efficiency.
